I could never reason this; if 85-90% of commuters are men traveling city buses compared to the so called "fairer-sex". But yet there is no single seat reserved for Men.
Look at the otherwise, you have a pink-bus (god knows why pink) that carry only pussy cats. And still there are no seats reserved for Men, in the plain old other buses.
God thank you. At least, you have made most drivers Male.
I hope that they could have reserved the new Volvo Buses "Ladies Only", you could know that the revenue by EOD would be "peanuts, peanuts,...".
I have grow in this city and as a boy traveling to school was asked by an "College lass", to vacate the seat for her. Ooop! I said that I don't find a seat reserved for boys. And then there was a huge "hungama" (issue), and I made sure I confronted, just understanding that my alight was just 2 stops next.
But then its same even today, nearly after some 10+ silicon years in Bangalore.
Hope that the gentle men, could fight the "not necessary fare-sex".
